Job description / Mission: The Business Line is part of the Vacuum Technique Service Division, with the intent to become the undisputed leader in the VTS segment in China. The BLM is part of the Leybold China management team and will work closely together with the other BLM’s of the Vacuum Technique Business Area. A key responsibility of the BLM is to establish a world leading positioning for the Leybold brand in the region, with the vision to be "First in mind, First in Choice" and ensure that Atlas Copco’s "Business Code of Practice" is followed. The responsibilities will include: −Responsible for the Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet of the business line in the region −Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that promote all Vacuum Technique Service products under the Leybold brand to build and reinforce target market share and profitability. −Preparation and achievement of business line sales budget in the region. −Prioritize customers and market sectors for sales focus in agreement with the business line globally and the customer centre’s general manager −Handle major sales and negotiations for the business line in the region −Focus on developing all relevant sales channels, direct and indirect, always considering the mix of products best suited for the local market with a strong focus on overall market share, profitability and cost efficiency targets of the business line. −Work closely together with other Business Line Managers (Scientific Vacuum & Industrial Vacuum Division) to ensure that the Vacuum Technique Business Area has a homogeneous approach to the market with an aim to achieve our ambitious targets. −Monitor the development of a defined set of KPIs and scorecards, resulting in corrective/preventive actions (i.e., profitability, growth, forecasting, territory action plans, CRM, etc.) −Stay up to date on market intelligence (incl. price levels). Price every product in line with the marketing plan and market potential against current market levels with the objective to give all products the best chance in the market −Attend business line review meetings, participate and provide updates at regular meetings with relevant regional salesforce team as well as division and business area management as required −Lead, develop and motivate an experienced sales team in the region towards continuous success −Management of the regional applications, product and market sector management function in terms of delivering a differentiated technology and solutions strategy −Ensure optimum behaviour and performance of the business line with the country/region acting as first point of escalation of business resolution issues −Grow and develop talent within the business line −Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment −Minimum of 50% travel may be required Experience requirements: −At least 5+ years of strategical and conceptual capabilities to lead and develop a regional business and proven track record of delivering results in sales and marketing and sound commercial awareness Soft Skills / Knowledge / Educational requirements: −University degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline / or equivalent work experience −Knowledge of vacuum technology is highly desirable −Excellent computer skills are required (MS Office, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) Personality requirements: −Result-driven, radiant personality who has strong leadership skills with the capability to give enthusiasm to the organization and can communicate with impact −Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team −Strong customer oriented attitude −Keen interest in the culture and the way of doing business Report to General Manager Location: Major domestic cities in China
