职位介绍: Manage and oversee the Product Development function for the company. Act as the commercial link between Design and customers, bringing Product / fabric / trim “newness” to ranges and helping to interpret and translate customer trend direction into commercially viable product concepts. Ensure Account Management and Operations teams clearly understand customer design needs and product direction, enabling accurate briefing and execution. Align all design outputs with customer expectations on price, margin and quality standards, ensuring that creative proposals are both on-trend and commercially feasible. •Manage and lead the Product Development function in alignment with office teams, ensuring continuous feedback to Buying and Design Teams on factory capabilities, constraints and commercial requirements to support effective collaboration with OPCOs. •Define and drive the design agenda by leveraging competitive shopping, trend research and market intelligence from fabric mills, trim suppliers, factories and in-house design teams. •Optimize the performance level of suppliers and vendors with the Design Interpretation and Sample execution “Aesthetic” and ensure commercial product correctness with the customer. •Drive the Design Cycle with inputs from Customer & expectations for inputs throughout the GTM Calendar to ensure that Trends are picked at appropriate time & adopted by our customers. •Define the priorities in Product Development with the inputs of materials and trims that lend themselves to various customers and being able to adapt the inputs to meet the expectations of customers in terms of price / margin and quality. •Keep abreast of the Design Trends, Material innovations, Trim and Embellishment trends and opportunities through trade shows and trends agencies. Market intelligence and macro trends on the activities of competitors in the market in retail/production – keeping key stakeholders informed. •Plan and conduct retail store visits to gather market insights and share findings with Account Managers for range building and ensure showrooms are regularly updated with trend-relevant samples / fabrics and trims. •Optimize supplier and vendor performance in design interpretation and sample execution (aesthetic), ensuring products meet customer requirements for design, fit, functionality and commerciality. •Set and manage design priorities, including material and trim input suited to different customers, and adapt these to meet required price points, margin objectives and quality standards. •Lead the end-to-end Design Cycle, incorporating customer input and expectations across the GTM calendar to ensure trends are identified, products are developed and presented at the right time for customer adoption. •Motivate, train, coach & develop teams to build bench strength and appropriate retention; create positive environment and high staff morale adhering to values.
