职位介绍: Principal Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities • Lead the mechanical design and development of new products from concept through mass production. • Own the design of complex mechanical systems and key modules, ensuring performance, reliability, manufacturability, quality, and cost targets are achieved. • Drive product architecture decisions, mechanism design, material selection, tolerance analysis, and structural optimization. • Conduct design reviews, root cause analysis, and engineering validation to resolve complex technical issues. • Collaborate with Industrial Design, Electronics, Software, Systems, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams throughout product development. • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support prototype builds, NPI activities, and production ramp-up. • Apply DFM, DFA, FMEA, GD&T, and engineering best practices to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency. • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across mechanical development projects. • Continuously identify opportunities for product innovation, cost reduction, and process improvement. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. • 10+ years of mechanical product development experience in robotics, consumer electronics, smart devices, or related industries. • Proven experience leading the mechanical development of products from concept through mass production. • Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, CNC machining, and precision mechanical design. • Solid understanding of mechanism design, tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFM, DFA, FMEA, and reliability engineering. • Proficient in 3D CAD tools such as Creo, NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent. • Experience working with ODM/OEM suppliers and manufacturing teams. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to lead technical discussions and work effectively in cross-functional, global teams. • Fluent English communication skills are preferred. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in robotic vacuum, service robots, home appliances, or other electromechanical products. • Familiarity with motor systems, transmission mechanisms, sensor integration, and mechatronic systems. • Experience with structural simulation (FEA), Moldflow, or other CAE tools. • Experience leading major product modules or serving as technical lead on complex development programs.
