职位介绍: Key Responsibilities Customs & Regulatory Liaison Act as the designated point of contact for all interactions with national customs authorities and relevant government agencies. Interpret and implement evolving trade regulations, tariff classifications, and duty programs to ensure full legal conformity. Manage customs broker relationships and performance, ensuring service levels align with operational and compliance requirements. AEO Program Ownership Take full ownership of the company’s AEO certification (both Customs Simplifications and Security & Safety, where applicable). Lead the end-to-end preparation, execution, and follow-up for all AEO re-certification audits and unannounced compliance reviews. Maintain and continuously improve the AEO Self-Assessment framework, ensuring all internal controls, record-keeping, and security protocols meet or exceed audit thresholds. Audit & Process Management Design, implement, and lead a robust internal audit schedule covering all trade compliance processes, including import/export declarations, valuation, origin, and routing. Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for all customs-related activities. Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action plans for any compliance gaps identified during audits or operational reviews. Partner with Logistics, Finance, and Legal teams to embed compliance into end-to-end supply chain processes. Risk Management & Continuous Improvement Proactively identify trade compliance risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies. Lead training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders on AEO requirements, customs best practices, and regulatory changes. Benchmark against industry best practices to drive efficiency and security in customs operations. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in trade compliance, customs management, or supply chain regulatory roles. Proven, hands-on experience leading AEO certifications and managing full audit cycles (C-TPAT or similar trusted trader programs also highly relevant). Deep knowledge of customs classification (HS codes), valuation, rules of origin, and preferential trade agreements. Experience managing direct communications with national customs authorities. Strong background in process documentation, SOP creation, and internal control frameworks.
