Position Summary: Cole-Parmer has the mission to be Scientific Expert with professional product and service. We need some experienced sales engineers who has deep insights to Pharma Industry or high-end manufacturing industry, especially good experience to Equipment and Instrument, consumables and services. These sales engineers need to aggressively drive demand creation activity in assigned territory and customer base. Expectations to business development include product promotion and develop strategic cooperation with customers with trust relationship as preferred supplier. You need to develop your business pipeline in a healthy approach. Gain new customers, penetrate hi-po accounts, maintain our share in mature accounts and prevent collapse. You also need to strengthen our Brand Image among customers. Regular business review to ensure sales target could be achievable and action items under right track. Submission of all reports to the Line Manager on time to maintain discipline. o Supports sales management plans by maintaining effective customer relations and assuring continued market penetration and profitability by making in – depth calls to end Users to achieve sales objectives. o Work with team to manage necessary on-site activities such as seminar and technical discussion in key account. o Collect AR from end users. o Exposure in handling Key Accounts. o Implements customer specific action plans. o Resolves customer service relevant issues (i.e. pricing and product availability). o Introduces new products and services to the accounts. o Develops new customers and performs other tasks as assigned by Manager. o Strong selling experiences on bioscience market Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: o Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent work experience. o 5 years of direct sales experience, focus on life science market are preferred o Familiar with selling Laboratory Equipment and Consumables o Good written and spoken English skills required. o Familiar with pharma and vaccine market on consumables Working Conditions: o Frequent customer visits and able to travel 60% of time. o Sits at computer for extended periods of time and uses a keyboard and mouse to interact with computer system. o Frequently uses phone to converse with business partners. o Frequent writing and reading in both English and Chinese
