职位介绍: GLOBAL FLAVORIST TRAINEE PROGRAM Flavorist Trainee, Savory Home and assigned location after training: Shanghai, China This program offers you the opportunity to develop new skills and experience through hands-on training in various aspects of the flavor creation process, knowledge building about the different analytical tools used, and learning about the impact of technology in this field. Your Key Responsibilities: * Master on-the-bench flavor creation and design in line with our Good Creative Practices. * Acquire a robust understanding of manufacturing, analytical and quality capabilities paired with basic research and food science understanding. * Work on concrete and supervised creation cases and understand the various challenges that may be encountered whilst creating. * Learn and practice our state-of-the-art creation, project and portfolio management tools aligned with our digital transformation strategy. * Acquire a perfect understanding of your market and its key categories. * Successfully pass all the regular checkpoints including a final defense at the end of the 2 years of training. We bring : * An exciting 2 Year Flavorist Trainee Program comprising 10 Months in our Center of excellence in Switzerland and 14 Months in your home affiliate. * Courses with top-class instructors including Master Flavorists and industry-renown partners. * A broad curriculum comprising all the aspects of the métier. * Culture that values diversity where people are at the heart of the company. * Opportunity to work for a company that cares about the environment, sets, and achieve ambitious sustainability objectives. * A Junior Flavorist position if you succeed at the end of the training. You bring : * A minimum of bachelor degree in chemistry, food chemistry, food technology, food science, or broader chemical engineering and science degrees. * Creative and Innovative with an above-average sense of taste and smell. * Intuitive with an innate curiosity and genuine interest in Food and culinary, * Good technical understanding of chemistry and physical chemistry with certain level knowledge or experience of flavor creation. * Effective Teamwork and productive working relationships in a multicultural environment, be able to relocate interim while with strong motivation to work in China as long-term career inspiration. * Fluent Professional English and Native Mandarin. dsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
