职位介绍: Responsibilities • To conduct concept creation and product design, effectively offer reasonable technical application guidance and related documentation for production • To execute construction architectural work according to client’s /internal requirements • The product category includes domestic appliance, kitchenware product, bathroom product, healthcare product, etc. • To finish 3D model, 2D drawing (mainly by supplier), design review, DFMEA, CTQ, tooling DFM work, etc. Which for sure will include prototype review & test, tooling sample checking, and part release work, etc. • Take lead for all technical topics’ discussion, solution selection, design trade‐off, decision making, and give strong support for value engineering, and so on • Work directly with clients on all their product development work, together with client’s project team, GMX project team and as well as our suppliers’ • Work on and assist with the development and improvement of existing products • Providing technical feedback to both our engineers and our clients engineers, design quality, quality control departments and suppliers about test results, product/ component reliability & improvement as well as make professional suggestions for feasible cost down/ product improvement measures. Work Experience Requirements • Min 5 years’ experience • Have experienced a successful product development from start to finish • Expertise in mechanical structure design, tolerancing fits, etc. • Prefer to have appliance system architecture design experience. Strong in plastic or metal parts structure design • Prefer to have product development experience in domestic appliance, healthcare product, kitchenware, or bathroom products • Good to have expertise in material properties • Good to have expertise in various manufacturing process capabilities Skill Requirements • Solid knowledge on mechanical structure design fundamentals • Expert in 3D CAD, Solidworks, Pro‐E, NX • Can perform material cost calculations, product cost estimates • Good planning, organizing, analytical and communication skills • Good team player, result‐oriented, open mind; • Proficient in English (especially written) Education Requirement • BS (master preferred) of mechanical design and manufacturing, injection mould design and manufacture, or materials engineering
