职位介绍: Roles & Responsibilities: The Laboratory Animal Center (LAC) of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), established in 2025, serves as a university‑level core platform for teaching and research support. It is committed to providing professional technical services covering the full spectrum of animal experimentation to research teams both within and outside the university, thereby strongly advancing cutting‑edge disciplinary exploration and technological innovation. Located on the 16th floor of the Life Sciences Building at 39 Qingning Road in the Suzhou Industrial Park, the Centre occupies an area of approximately 2,300 square metres. It can accommodate around 3,500 mouse cages and 800 rat cages. The facility includes functional units such as animal behaviour laboratories, surgical suites, in vivo imaging laboratories and dissection rooms, which can be used to meet a variety of research needs. Job Responsibilities: 1.Establish disease models in mice and rats, including tumor models, metabolic diseases, inflammatory diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, myocardial infarction, and others. 2.Independently perform small animal surgical procedures and complete biological sample collection without supervision. 3.Responsible for the d。aily operation and maintenance of key laboratory equipment, including the automatic blood biochemical analyzer, small animal ultrasound machine, and others. Performs sample testing and animal imaging examinations (ultrasound), collects test reports, and possesses basic image interpretation skills. 4.data, completes the preservation of biological samples according to project requirements, and ensures sample quality. Qualifications: 1.Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Medicine, Laboratory Animal Science, or related fields. 2.Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SPF-level animal facility, with proficiency in experimental techniques for mice and rats. 3.Possession of a valid Laboratory Animal Practitioner Qualification Certificate. 4.Familiarity with animal welfare, ethics, and biosafety regulations (e.g., AAALAC). 5.With the ability to review experiment protocol in English. 6.Personal Attributes: ●Meticulous, patient, and highly responsible, with strong communication and teamwork skills. ●Adaptability to SPF-environment work, a genuine interest in laboratory animals, and a service-oriented mindset with care for animals. Preferred Qualifications: ●Familiarity with small animal imaging techniques. ●Familiarity with fundamental procedures in experimental animal models (e.g., glioma, myocardial infarction, tumors, metabolic diseases, neurodegenerative diseases). ●Holds a veterinary license.
