职位介绍: 材料化学研究技术员 Research Technician in Materials Chemistry 任职者将主要协助本组研究员的工作。研究员的工作主要是进行亲水表面涂层及其制备工艺的优化和放大，应用于多种材料表面改性以及实现抗菌性能。该工作会涉及到有机化学(涂层材料的制备、方法优化和性能表征)、化学工程(工艺的放大及流程的改进)和材料科学(功能性应用的开发)，根据需要使用多种分析技术进行广泛的化学、表面以及相应聚合物的分析和表征。职责描述： 1. 基于现有的技术，优化实验方案，并进行工艺放大。 2. 做好详细的实验记录。 3. 使用和维护实验室专业仪器设备，协助实验室管理团队。 4. 测试、分析各种实验的结果和数据，审查、完善工作假设，以推进项目。 The RT will mainly assist the work of Research Scientists at OSCAR. The RT will work on the project of optimizing a new surface modification strategy for introducing antimicrobial properties on a wide variety of substrates This project involves organic chemistry (preparation, optimization and characterization of the hydrophilic coating material), chemical engineering (scale-up and improvement of the fabrication process) and materials science (development on functional applications), and will require extensive chemical, surface and polymer analysis and characterisation using routine analytical techniques. Responsibilities: 1. Based on current protocol, optimizing experimental procedure and scale up current process. 2. Keeping detailed records on both experimental procedure and testing protocols. 3. Use and maintain professional equipment in the laboratory and cooperate with the management team. 4. Test hypotheses and analyse results and data from a variety of experiments, reviewing and refining working hypotheses as appropriate to advance the project. 基本条件： 1. 持有化学/材料化学/化学工程与工艺等相关学科的硕士学位，或三到五年及以上有高分子化学反应优化与放大经验的本科学位。 2. 在合成有机化学/材料/聚合物化学(合成和表征)/微生物学方面有研究经验。 3. 对化学合成、化学工程放大、材料科学制备新材料及其微生物 (主要是抗菌活性)感兴趣。 4. 熟悉有机化合物表征(NMR, MS, IR，偏振法)，聚合物表征(MALDI-TOF, GPC)和材料表征(XPS, ATR-IR，UV-Vis，接触角，TGA/DSC)的光谱方法。 5. 良好的英语书面和口头沟通表达能力。 6. 具有团队合作精神，能够积极协助研究员工作。优先考虑: 1. 有高分子化学反应优化或者工艺放大经验 2. 愿意学习新技术，并将其应用于高度跨学科的研究环境中，以扩展和改进技术和理论知识。 Essential: 1. Hold a Master Degree or Bachelor Degree with 3-5 years working experience in Organic Chemistry or Materials Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and Technology, Materials Engineering or a closely related discipline. 2. Research experience in synthetic organic chemistry, materials, polymer chemistry (synthesis and characterisation) and/or microbiology related. 3. An interest in combining chemical synthesis, chemical engineering scale-up and materials science for the preparation of novel materials and their microbiological evaluation (principally antibacterial activity). 4. Familiar with spectroscopic methods for organic compound characterisation (NMR, MS, IR, polarimetry), polymer characterisation (MALDI-TOF, GPC) and materials characterisation (XPS, ATR-IR, UV-Vis, contact angle, TGA/DSC). 5. Good communication skills in English, in writing and a plus in oral presentations. 6. Show the ability to work supportively in a laboratory environment and take part in joint projects through co-operation and the exchange of information, skills and reagents. Desirable: 1. Have the experience of polymer chemistry reaction optimization or technology scaling up. 2. Be willing to learn new techniques and apply them in a highly interdisciplinary research environment to expand and improve technical and theoretical knowledge.
