- Duties The appointee will assist in launching, executing, and overseeing R&D projects focused on the development of innovative materials for the building and construction industry. This role involves: • Achieving project milestones, drafting project proposals & reports, and delivering presentations; • Collaborating with project sponsors, suppliers, professors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful progression of projects; • Keeping up-to-date with market trend and build network with local professionals for potential collaborations; and • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements • A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Construction Material Technologies or a related discipline; • Prior experience in material development and construction is advantageous; • A strong passion for the development, research, and application of new construction materials; • The ability to initiate and independently manage tasks, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility for one's work along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua being a distinct advantage.
