Airfreight Sales & BD Manager (ASBDM) 空运销售/业务拓展经理 Job Description: The ASBDM is responsible for the acquisition and development of new (Chinese & international) accounts with focus on the Airfreight sector. The primary focus of this role is to achieve agreed sales targets that will ensure revenue growth and profitability for deugro Airfreight division. Identify and secure new opportunities for business growth within new and existing networks, manage relationships, account development and business development and individually contribute significantly to the overall profitability of the deugro offices and the deugro group. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, contracts, and finance, to ensure effective coordination and execution of commercial activities. Key Responsibilities: • Secure new customers and business opportunities for deugro. • Maintain an effective customer management plan that includes a formalized review structure and business plan for each client on an ongoing basis to ensure maximization of all business offerings. • Work pro-actively within the dedicated customer base improving awareness of business offerings. • Research and identify key customers from local, domestic and International markets and sources. • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase the customer base. • Develop and maintain a pipeline of perspective new business. • Maintain high levels of activity and customer focus achieving set targets. • Pro-actively contribute to the improvement of business offerings, strategy and commercial direction. • Identifying and developing Customer Solutions in close collaboration with the deugro Airfreight team. • Enter customer and call activity into the company CRM tools. • Provide customer reports and analysis. • Create revenue budgets and provide high level of input to business plans. • Operate to company budget parameters. • As assigned, act as lead responsibility for Tender responses, Expressions of interest and Request for Quotations. • Ensure tender response documents are professionally prepared, represent and uphold the deugro quality and provide competitive and attractive service offerings to clients. • Provide out of the box solutions and commercial offerings that maximize profit and returns for the company. • Identify strategic customer targets for growth and establish and maintain deugro as a qualified business partner through MSA, LSA processes as applicable. • Ensure data is accurate recorded in company databases and systems and ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date. • Ensure all quotations are created per company format and rates are managed appropriately for easy operational use. • Report and analyze business results and targets/KPI. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar logistics commercial or related role, preferably within the airfreight industry. • Strong understanding of airfreight processes, contract management, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset. • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks related to commercial agreements and procurement practices. • Fluent communication-Verbal and Written in English • Highly self motivated and work independently
