职位介绍: Job Title HR Business Partner Job Purpose The HR Business Partner supports business units by providing practical HR advice and solutions. The role works closely with the Dean, Heads of Department and managers on recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, staff development and organisational change. Key Responsibilities 1.HR Business Partnering • Build effective working relationships with leaders and managers in related business units. • Understand the business units’ academic plans, staffing needs and people-related challenges. • Provide practical and professional HR advice. • Support managers in making fair and consistent people decisions. 2.Workforce Planning and Recruitment • Support annual staffing and workforce planning. • Identify recruitment needs, capability gaps and critical positions. • Support the recruitment of academic, research, technical and professional services staff. • Advise on job descriptions, selection criteria, interviews and appointment decisions. • Support international recruitment and the development of talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles. 3. Performance and Talent Management • Support the annual performance and development review process. • Advise managers on performance expectations, feedback and underperformance. • Support talent reviews, succession planning and staff development. • Provide advice on probation, promotion, contract renewal and career development. 4. Employee Relations • Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, grievances, disciplinary issues and workplace conflict. • Manage sensitive cases fairly, professionally and confidentially. • Help managers address people issues at an early stage. • Escalate complex or high-risk cases when necessary. 5. Organisational Development and Change • Support organisational restructuring, role changes and new team structures. • Assist with communication and staff consultation during organisational change. • Help the business units improve team effectiveness, staff engagement and retention. Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, computer sciences or a related area. • Relevant experience in HR generalist or HR business partnering roles. • Good problem-solving, organisation and stakeholder management skills. • Good written and spoken English and Chinese. • Experience working in a university, technology company or international organisation. • Understanding of the talent market for computer science, artificial intelligence or related disciplines.
