We are currently seeking a Static Equipment Engineer, reporting directly to Mechanical Department Manager to join our On/Offshore Engineering team based in Shanghai, China. About the Job Hierarchically reports to: to Mechanical Department Manager; Operationally reports to: Lead Discipline Engineer / Unit Lead Engineer Main responsibilities: Prepares technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost & time effective discipline engineering analysis and solutions, to guarantees the compliance of engineering solutions with client requirements, industry standards and Group HSE, engineering processes and best practices. Specially involved in static equipment engineering from front end studies till completion of detailed engineering with covering the following key functions: Analysis of technical contractual documents and design criteria. Perform or initiate the concept or scheme for the discipline work. Preparing deliverables as delegated by the Lead Engineer Preparing and developing the equipment data sheet, specification, STD, calculation and guide drawing Issuing material requisition for bidding and ordering. Technical bid evaluation. Assisting in bidding and technical proposal for new project. Perform, check, or approve the engineering design. Review and incorporate vendor data and drawings. Coordinate with all other disciplines engineers. Provide necessary interface inputs / vendor information to other disciplines. Produce engineering documents on schedule, with decent quality, to standard and within budget Support testing and Inspection of the Equipment at Vendor Shop. Supporting the construction job site by resolving the mechanical design issue. Develop in-house tool and programs. Train, guide, and mentor engineers. Perform any other functions as allocated by Leader engineer and department manager. Work as field engineer when required. About You We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: 4-year up working experience in static engineering work. Computer literate is must. Good interpersonal and commutation skill. Familiar with local and international design codes and standard including ASME, API and TEMA etc. Fluent English skill in both of oral and writing. Good knowledge in static equipment design, fabrication, inspection and acceptance Education background Bachelor degree and above in Chemical engineering ,mechanical engineering and similar majors. An engineer degree. Starting Date: ASAP
