职位介绍: Base Shanghai or Suzhou The Automotive Product Engineer plays a key role in bridging technical expertise and commercial strategy, supporting business growth by aligning product capabilities with customer requirements. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to provide technical guidance throughout the entire sales cycle. Key responsibilities include analysing customer needs and translating them into feasible technical solutions, preparing and delivering product presentations, and supporting RFQs (Requests for Quotation) with accurate technical and cost data. The engineer ensures that proposed solutions meet performance, quality, and regulatory standards while remaining competitive in the market. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with internal development teams to adapt or customize products based on client specifications, supporting prototype validation, and assisting in troubleshooting technical issues during pre-sales and early project phases. The Automotive Product Engineer also contributes to market intelligence by identifying trends, benchmarking competitors, and providing feedback for product improvement and innovation. Requirements for the candidate: • Strong communication skills, • Bachelor’s degree. • 8 to 10 years engineering experience in Automotive industry working on programs from RFQ to SOP stages. • Experience in Automotive exterior and interior parts will be preferred, including injection/chromed/painting processes. • Able to adapt to pressure, travel flexibility • Familiar with OFFICE and CATIA softwares. • Fluent in English speaking since this person will be the technical liaison between the Chinese OEMs and the European teams.
