职位介绍: Key Responsibilities • Lead the development work of multi-type metal components, plastic parts, CNC manufacturing, surface treatment, assembly or chemical treatment of wearable products. • Design the CNC, surface treatment, Assembly process based on cosmetic and drawing requirement, to be pioneering bringing up the new metal material, surface finish mechanism, mapping out process flow, selecting processing equipments, designing corresponding fixtures/slurries/wheels/sandpapers/magazines/trays, initiating DOEs to find out the best machine setups, cutter materials and coating process, mechanical polishing path and parameters, and finalizing the process solution from prototype stage to mass production stage, and finalizing the process solution. • Be deeply involving in working on multiple customized processes in the scope of: CNC, Polishing, PVD, Chemical treatment, Sand Blasting, Anodizing, Super clean, Laser etching, Automation etc. • Work cross functionally with Product Design Engineering to assess product features for manufacturability, and recommend capable production processes and equipment. • Work closely with Cupertino-based MDEs in the development of above said processes. • Work with Global Supply Managers to develop new equipment from RFQ through factory implementation, and manufacture and deliver material to downstream supply chain nodes on time and on cost. • Work with Manufacturing Quality Engineers to drive yield improvement through analysis of part quality, defect pareto, and SPC. • A heavy emphasis will be on working with suppliers to define and refine mechanical tooling and fixtures, and establishing process capability and readiness. • Coordination of activities and direction through clear communication between the Asia and US-based teams, and vendors is a necessity. Experiences / Education • Experiences of process technical development including (or very familiar with some of), CNC, Polishing, Consumable material wheels/sandpapers industry, Slurries industry, Blasting media, Chemical Treatment, super clean, laser application, Automation etc. • Experiences of direct dealing with Aluminum/ SUS/Titanium/Ceramic, Carbon Fiber, or Combination with plastics is preferred, or some of super clean parts handling experience on IC package industry. • Experiences in developing customized machine (non-standard machine) in 3C industry is preferred, including the following areas (but not limited to): CNC machines, Polish equipment, Robot application, Cosmetic inspection equipments, Roughness and Texture Control, Surface Color, Stress analysis, Film protection, special pick & place handling, etc. • Very Familiar with GD&T, DOE, SPC. • 5+ years relevant working experience, esp. in 3C industry. • Good written and oral communication skills, fluent in English. • College or more on degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical and/or relevant manufacturing work experience. • On-site build support; must be willing to work from OEM factories. • Ability and willingness to work independently and travel frequently (mainly in Asia). • A team player who is self-motivated, results oriented and detailed oriented.
