职位介绍: Overall task / goal of the position: Simulation of 3D flows (2- and 1-phase) and nonlinear thermo-mechanical stresses in the exhaust system Job Description: 1.3D flow simulation (CFD, 1- and 2-phase): Performance of steady-state and transient CFD calculations, including model building as well as pre- and post-processing. 2.Thermomechanics (FEM): Performing nonlinear elastoplastic deformations/stresses due to differing thermal expansions during the heating and cooling phases, evaluation, model calibration, variant assessments including model creation and pre- and post-processing 3.External Service Providers: Managing external service providers for fluid dynamics and structural dynamics calculations, model creation, and evaluation 4.Methodology Development: Developing and refining calculation methods to improve results 5.Analysis/Measures: Evaluating calculation results and determining measures to achieve objectives in collaboration with the customer, designer, and relevant development disciplines 6.Technical Department: Representing the computational analysis department in project teams, designing and defining components and AGA (Automated Exhaust Gas Assembly) in collaboration with the customer, designer, and component strength experts 7.Special Tasks: Other reasonable tasks may be performed as instructed by management or supervisors 8.Travel to domestic factories for technical support as required by project needs, such as during the prototyping and testing phases. 9.Travel domestically to visit customers for technical exchanges or project meetings as required by project needs. Profession Experience needed 1.Experience in exhaust system design and simulation at OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers. Familiar with the R&D process of exhaust systems for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. Knowledge of design requirements for exhaust systems in new energy vehicles (HEV/PHEV) is a plus. 2.Proficient in the working principles, structural design, simulation, performance optimization, and development processes of automotive exhaust systems. Solid knowledge of engine thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, vibration and noise (NVH), and other related fields. Familiar with the design and matching of exhaust system components (catalytic converters, mufflers, exhaust pipes, etc.). 3.Skilled in using design software such as CATIA, UG, and CAD for structural design and digital model building. Proficient in simulation tools such as CFD and GT-Power, with the ability to independently conduct simulation analysis and testing. 4.Knowledge of domestic and international automotive emission regulations and after-treatment technologies. Understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes for exhaust systems (casting, forging, welding, etc.), with the ability to support production departments in resolving process-related technical issues. 5.Strong technical analysis skills and innovative thinking, capable of solving key technical challenges in the exhaust system R&D process. 6.Project management, communication, and coordination skills to drive collaboration across departments and with customers. 7.At least 6 years of R&D experience in automotive exhaust systems; prior experience in successful development of exhaust systems for mass-produced vehicle models is preferred. 8.Rigorous and responsible work ethic, with good logical thinking, learning ability, and resilience under pressure. Adaptable to the pace of R&D work and necessary business travel arrangements. 9.Language: Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus. Education requirements Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Vehicle Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Energy and Power Engineering, or related fields. A master's degree or above is preferred
