职位介绍: Business Controller / Commercial Finance Manager – Commodity Trading Job Responsibilities • Commercial Performance Management: Oversee the end-to-end performance of individual trade flows, focusing on P&L analysis, margin optimization, and profitability enhancement. Partner with trading desks to challenge and improve deal economics. • Risk & Exposure Control: Monitor commodity price exposure and hedge positions, ensuring alignment with the company's risk policy. Provide insights on market movements and their potential impact on the portfolio. • Treasury & Funding Strategy: Collaborate with banks and brokers to optimize trade finance structures and hedging activities. Lead the preparation of cash flow forecasts and secure funding requirements in partnership with operational teams. • Group Financial Integrity: Ensure consistency in financial monitoring and reporting standards across all subsidiaries, driving alignment with group-level consolidation and control objectives. • Internal Control & Process Improvement: Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the internal control framework. Identify operational risks and propose solutions to enhance process efficiency and safeguard assets. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with trading, operations, and other departments to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business planning. • Compliance & Governance: Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and corporate governance requirements. • Team Support & Development: Act as a key resource for the finance team, providing mentorship and support on complex issues as needed. • Strategic Projects: Take on ad-hoc assignments from senior management, contributing to business initiatives and process improvements. Requirements • Education: Degree holder in Business, Finance, Accountancy, or related disciplines. • Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in the commodity trading sector. • Commercial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, assess business performance, and provide actionable recommendations. • Collaborative Mindset: A proactive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across different functions and regions. • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with MS Office applications, particularly advanced Excel; knowledge of Chinese word processing is an advantage. • Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
