职位介绍: Company: Famous Brand Position: Cost Accountant Candidate: Japanese or Chinese are all OK Job Summary： The Factory Cost Accountant is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on all costs associated with the manufacturing process. This role ensures accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial performance analysis to support operational efficiency, cost control, and informed business decision-making. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to collaborate effectively with operations, procurement, and finance teams. Primary Duties and Responsibilities a) Calculate and maintain accurate standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead for all products. b) Analyze and report on manufacturing variances (e.g., purchase price, material usage, labor efficiency, overhead). c) Perform monthly closing activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS). d) Conduct regular cost audits and reconciliations of inventory (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods). e) Analyze inventory aging, slow-moving, and obsolete stock; recommend write-downs or disposals. f) Monitor and report on key inventory metrics (e.g., turnover, days on hand). g) Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other specialists. h) Participate in preparing financial reports, including those for auditors and financial analysts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and regulatory filings. i) Present cost variance analysis and inventory insights during monthly cost meeting, follow up on action items with cross functional teams. Qualification and Requirements: Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Experience： • 3+ years of finance experience, including at least 1+ year of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles (standard costing, variance analysis, absorption costing). Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) and ERP systems. • Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS as it relates to inventory and cost accounting Language • Business-level Japanese proficiency is required. • English proficiency is a plus.
