职位介绍: Job Description for Job Posting – Draft, Updated Apr, 2026 General Description Position: Science Communication Manager /Principle Scientist (I /II) Department: Science Communication (R&D) Objective Bring our science to life for consumers, business partners, and external stakeholders by translating complex skin care science into credible, compelling, and consumer-centric communication. The Science Communication Manager will act as a strategic and technical bridge between R&D, Brand, Marketing, Regulatory, and external experts to support innovation, product launches, and brand growth across China and the APAC region. This role requires strong scientific expertise, excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of skin care science, and the ability to influence crossfunctional teams through authoritative, accurate, and impactful scientific storytelling. Key Responsibilities Translate complex skin care science (skin biology, dermatology, ingredients, formulations, mechanisms) into clear, compelling, and consumercentric communication. Lead and support the development of scientific communication assets for new product launches and existing products. In close collaboration business partners and R&D cross-function teams, manage calendar for initiatives and delivery of content. Participate in external scientific activities such as academic congresses, PR events, media engagements, and professional presentations to reinforce scientific credibility. KPIs Successful and timely delivery of initiatives and relevant content Measures for success of content in terms of commercial leverage, business impacts, external recognition and consumer acceptance Requirements Background (qualifications, experience and skill requirements) Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Dermatology, Biology, Life Sciences or a related field Strong knowledge of skin biology, cosmetic ingredients, formulation science, etc. Minimum 5 years of working experience in beauty industry, and handson experience in scientific communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Japanese is a plus) Proven ability to work crossfunctionally and manage multiple projects Experience in scientific presentations, congresses, publications, or external engagements strongly preferred
