职位介绍: The Project Manager leads the team and has responsibility for project deliverables. Also supports the sales team to drive business growth and works closely with the senior management team in China to ensure profitable growth of company business. Main Duties: Support Project timing plan After receipt of the LOI or a contract, the TPM will support the build of a detailed project plan. The planning follows the defined project milestones and the master timing plan. This master timing plan will be presented in the project kick off to all team members. Kick-off meeting TPM will moderate the kick-off meeting. In this meeting the TPM will share with the team all the relevant information for the project work. Lead Technical meeting TPM will moderate the Technical meeting. In this meeting the TPM will lead the discussion and make technical decisions when necessary. Project handbook In order to have all relevant information for the project team documented and available to the whole team, the TPM will keep all the documents stored in the folder “project handbook”. At least the following points should be considered as listed below: Customer Requirements Target Agreement Project Organization and Roles and responsibilities Project Master timing Risk Management Meeting Management Information Matrix Reporting Issue Management Change Management Escalation Lessons Learned The project handbook is kept in electronic form at the specific project folder. Project Status Monthly Review TPM shall report the project status from work progress, and key technical issue status to senior management. Project Milestone Review TPM is responsible for all relevant deliverables to support milestone reviews as specified by the customer requirements Project data backup and lessons learned TPM is responsible for data back up and to run lessons learned workshops. Key performance measures: Project performance – timing, cost, quality MVE profitable growth Compliance with customer deliverables requirements Customer satisfaction Challenges: Achieving business objectives Balancing operating locally and contributing globally. Driving several initiatives at the same time at various organizational levels, encouraging and supporting his/her own team in going beyond the day-to-day requirement of the job. Qualification: Bachelor degree or above majoring in Automotive Engineering or related subject Experiences and skills Component localization project experience in OEM. At least 6 years total working experience in a Project Management role Background from the automotive industry and familiar with local and foreign OEM customers Proven delivery record of completing full vehicle projects Able to gain respect from and motivate teams across different regions and cultures Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people at all levels of the business Ability to improve profitability drives revenue growth, identify new revenue streams and reduce overheads. Excellent skills in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint Language skills Required : Fluent in oral and written English Required: Fluent in oral and written German Desirable : Fluent in oral and written Chinese Other requirements Willing and able to travel Highly motivated and driven personality, leads from the front, can work independently Competency success profile Action Orientated – Enjoys working hard; is action orientated and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others. Business Acumen – Knows how businesses work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace. Developing Direct Reports and Others – Provides challenging and stretching tasks, holds frequent development discussions, is aware of each person’s career goals, constructs compelling development plans and executives them, drives people to accept developmental moves and takes on those who need help and further development. Decision Quality – Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, experience and judgement, most of his/her solutions and suggestions turn out to be correct and accurate when judged over time, sought out by others for advice and solutions. Customer Focus – Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
