Responsibilities
Strategic
• Collaborate with coverage team to align credit strategies with RM’s account plan, GPMF including exposure management and capital allocation
• Work both independently and as supporting role to senior analyst for the preparation of internal credit and risk related applications to enable coverage teams to concentrate on client coverage and sales activities which are important to achieve the business target.
Financial
• Work with RM and product partners in structuring credit solutions for the clients, assesses appropriateness of credit facility and support credit implementation to ensure revenue growth of GC.
Customer
• In partnership with coverage team, working individually or with guidance of senior analyst to maintain communication with customers to collect information for credit due diligence, address questions/issues raised by credit division, and keep credit monitoring reports, etc. People

• Build and update borrower rating assessment, financial models/spreadsheet, return on risk weighted assets to support decision-making processes.
• Working both independently and assist senior analysts in preparing credit application by conducting financial analysis, credit outlook and financial projections, industry analysis and risk assessment for new credit applications and existing portfolios.
• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholder to support credit implementation and ongoing credit control, portfolio reviews, ensuring timely submission of quality credit reports (loan grade monitoring, performance follow up, early warning etc.), monitor risk triggers, covenants and other credit conditions and report appropriately.
Skills & Knowledge:
1. Strong credit analytical skills including but not limited to both quantitative and qualitative measurements;
2. Solid accounting base with logical financial modelling skillset;
3. Good understanding of regulatory requirement, credit risk framework, and general banking product;
4. Strong written and verbal communication skill in both English and Chinese;
5. Self-motivated, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Education and Professional Qualifications Length and Type of Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university. Master’s degree is a plus.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, portfolio management, or related roles in financial institutions.
