职位介绍: Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities • Oversee and manage local Studio Engineering team activities in China typically for multiple vehicles within a single Vehicle Line. • Ensure Studio Engineering deliverables are met by locally managing results through programme gateways in accordance with the Creative and Product Development process’. • Collaborate with JLR and partner stakeholders to ensure timely, well-assessed, and appropriate inputs into the development of the design aesthetic. • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure compatibility of inputs and are appropriate to the designs. • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, programme assumptions, internal standards, and attribute requirements through programme gateways and data releases. • Manage local teams activites to support on-time Data and Surface Releases to support the overall Product Creation process. • Manage the generation and development of feasible engineering schemes in CAD, working with the UK-based teams to propose creative alternatives where necessary and securing stakeholder alignment. • Provide technical guidance to Studio Engineers and Designers, enhancing aesthetics while ensuring manufacturability and high-quality standards. • Manage local efforts in resolving design-related issues, ensuring a structured and effective approach. • Provide co-management of Studio Engineering team lead Feasibility Reviews with Stakeholders focussing on issue resolution alongside a UK-based counterpart. • Ensure teams systematically identify, document, and track new and open issues using an issue tracking system. • Generate status reports, prioritize issues, and request Senior Management support to aid issue resolution through governance processes where needed. • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the line manager in connection with the role. Key Interactions • JLR and JV partners Creative Designers • JLR Design Technical team • JLR and JV partners 3D Modelling Teams (Clay, CAS, ICEM) • JV partners Product Engineering Teams • JV partners Advanced Manufacturing • JV partners Vehicle Attribute Teams / Engineers • JV partners Product Quality Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: • Be fully conversant in the English language and ability to coverse at a business level. • Proven experience in Studio Engineering, Design Feasibility or similar, including Concept or Technical development, with a strong hands-on approach to problem solving and solution creation. • Demonstrated ability to manage local teams and manage generate cross-functional collaboration delivering feasible solutions while maintaining design intent. • A technically skilled and people-oriented leader with a strong design sensibility and the ability to directly contribute to engineering solutions, over relaying information between teams. • A forward-thinking mindset with experience in solving complex technical challenges creatively and applying real-world engineering solutions to design feasibility issues. • Hands-on experience in developing and refining technical solutions, ensuring practical feasibility while preserving design integrity. • Proven experience in adopdting and adapting Feasibility processes in line with changing demands. • Strong experience in vehicle packaging, bumper and exterior trim engineering, exterior lighting systems, occupant and pedestrian safety, closures, manufacturing and assembly, instrument panel, console, and door trim engineering. • Strong track record in people management, with a demonstrated ability to develop individuals skills and capabilities. • Strong business acumen and a customer-driven approach to design delivery. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels and disciplines, including Creative, Programme, Product Development, and Commercial/Marketing teams. • A degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred. Desirable: • CATIA V5 & TCE data management system • CATIA V6 & Enovia data managment system
