Our European division focuses on the acquisition and development of wind, solar, and energy storage power plant projects, alongside providing innovative energy services. Role Overview We are seeking a highly driven M&A Manager to support the identification, evaluation, and execution of renewable energy investment opportunities across Europe. The role will focus on transaction execution, financial analysis, and strategic expansion through acquisitions and partnerships. Key Responsibilities Identify and originate renewable energy investment and M&A opportunities (wind, solar, energy storage) across Europe Lead and execute end-to-end M&A transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and closing Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment return assessments Perform due diligence (commercial, financial, regulatory, and technical) on potential acquisition targets Coordinate with internal teams (legal, technical, finance) and external advisors throughout transaction processes Monitor European energy markets, policy developments, and competitive landscape to support investment strategy Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to senior management and investment committees Build and maintain relationships with developers, financial institutions, advisors, and other market participants Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy, or related fields (Master’s preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in M&A, investment, project finance, or renewable energy transactions Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, project finance models, sensitivity analysis) Solid understanding of European energy markets and renewable project economics Experience in cross-border transactions within Europe is highly preferred Familiarity with renewable project development lifecycle and risk assessment Fluent in English; additional European languages (French, German, Spanish) or Chinese are a plus Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
