职位介绍: The role of the Innovations Head is to lead the global innovation team to build strong research and development capability, ensure speedy readiness of new products to enable the GBU constantly to be technically competitive and leading in market. This includes but not limited to collaborating with commercial team to understand market trend and customer needs, to design product roadmap and its specifications in line with market requirements, constantly ensure products’ development in cost, in time and in spec, to guide and support RD team in adaptation and modification to specific customer needs and win the business. Collaborating with supply chain to reduce raw material complexity, cost saving and avoid lost due to product defect Nature and scope of main accountabilities Strategic: define and align long term commercially viable product and technology roadmap Shared with Marketing Tactical: define and implement product development for next 12 months Operational: Modify and adapt products to specific customer requirements . Strategic: Develop and implement IP landscape Tactical: Drive Raw Material Supplier to Design-to-Cost Purpose and subject of interaction with internal / external customers and key contacts Operational: Identify formulas and processing and raw material specs of new product and transfer to Operations – Scale-Up Pull in specification for products from marketing, application engineering and customers directly Help customers to use our product, resp. to consult them how to adapt their production process to optimize our product efficiency Act as the technical face to the market of Heraeus for all Solar metallization expertise Strategic: active development of new Business Segments by technical understanding of market environment and managing R&D partners Challenges with regard to innovation and change Consolidate multi-national team transferred recently from different locations and make them synergize in a most efficient way Lead R&D Systematics from case by case engineering to stable planable Design-of-Experiment mechanism minimizing firefighting Transfer Operational Setup from focus on few standard product dev’t to dev’t of a wide range of customer specific products Observe IP competition and firewall our portfolio against IP conflicts Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other Skills level of education required University degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Electronics or Physics, PhD beneficial level of working experience required 10 - 15 years in R&D function in a global industrial company, including 5+ years of people leadership any requirements of special knowledge / technical skills etc • Wide knowledge of Thick Film Paste Technologies triple-fold: (a) the chemistry fundamentals of glass, precious metals and organics and (b) the electronic behavior of the product once applied in a Solar cell, electrical parameters, semiconductor physics; (c) knowledge of screen printing and sintering process and the material behavior with it • Keep helicopter view on experiment efficiency, systematics and minimize redundancies • Pragmatic personality with a strong view for optimizing processes and results • Data and Fact driven • Strong creativity and steady generator of out-of-box ideas, e.g. in interpretation of experiment results and definition of new experiment • Courage for Change and uncompromised aim for systematics and maximizing predictability • Experience at setting up and evaluating complex projects • High degree in analytical thinking and problem solving • High degree of assertiveness • Good knowledge of market environment and goods business sense, acquainted with Technical Network in the entire Solar Industry • High degree of intercultural sensitivity • Chinese & English speaker
