Position Purpose The role is accountable for driving PYE’s e-commerce revenue growth and digital capability expansion within the high-potential China market. This position will architect and execute integrated digital strategies across new and existing channels to capture emerging business opportunities. The purpose is to deliver multi-dimensional business goals by optimizing channel performance, enhancing brand presence, and translating data-driven insights into actionable commercial plans. Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. Drive E-Commerce Revenue Growth & Operational Excellence • Lead the development and implementation of e-commerce strategies for the China market, ensuring alignment with overarching merchandising, marketing, and supply chain objectives. • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key online platforms and partners (e.g., Tmall, JD.com, Douyin). Secure optimal marketing exposure, seasonal activity planning, and trading terms to maximize sell-through. • Oversee the end-to-end operational health of the e-commerce business, including order fulfillment, customer service protocols, payment systems, and site merchandising, ensuring a seamless and on-brand customer journey. • Direct and manage relationships with third-party agencies and operational partners to ensure service-level agreements are met and performance is optimized. • Partner with Merchandising and Retail Operations to manage product inventory allocation for the warehouse and digital storefronts, balancing availability with stock turn targets. 2. Champion Performance Analytics & Insights • Establish and track rigorous KPIs for all e-commerce and marketing initiatives. Develop standardized reporting processes to monitor performance against business goals. • Leverage system reports, customer feedback, inventory data, and other metrics to identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement. • Collaborate with internal and external marketing resources to analyze customer data and campaign effectiveness, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for the business. • Synthesize sales and marketing data into comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports for distribution to internal leadership and key stakeholders, providing a clear narrative on performance and forward-looking strategies. 3. Drive Market Intelligence & Strategic Innovation • Continuously monitor the digital landscape, including competitor campaigns and activities within third-party selling platforms, to stay ahead of market trends. • Analyze competitive intelligence to compile and present key trends and insights, identifying potential opportunities and threats to inform strategic decision-making. • Play a key role in assessing and incubating new e-commerce partnerships and digital business models across Greater China. Academic Background (minimum and preferred requirements; include preferred discipline, if any) • Bachelor’s degree or higher. Candidates from top universities and with overseas experience are preferred. Working Experience (minimum and preferred requirement) • Minimum 5 years of e-commerce management experience within the premium/luxury fashion sector, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Strong knowledge of online shopping and leading ecommerce operations. Language Skill (written/ spoken and level of proficiency) • English is the working language. Excellent command of written and spoken of English and Mandarin. Other Specific Knowledge / Skills requirements • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong client service approach • Strong analytical capabilities and financial acumen. • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence. • Ability to think proactively, creatively solve problems • Ability to multitask/handle multiple projects with tight deadlines • Proactive service delivery focused attitude, willingness to get involved in all aspects of the commerce business with a “hands-on, can-do” approach. Work Location/ Traveling • Shanghai, and will travel to different cities whenever necessary.
