Position Summary:  1、The Product Manager is responsible for all marketing/branding activities of the product line. They will devel-op the marketing strategy and annual plan for the product. They will also be responsible for managing any new product launchs, promotional plans, etc. Monitor and report on the product status in the market to assist marketing man-ager to make the marketing decisions. KOL development and field travel with surgical sales teams to gain additional market intellegence for marketing manager.  2、Work is performed under the general direction of the Ophthamic Marketing Manager of Medical Department Main Tasks:  Product management 1、Manage the strategic planning and tactical activities for assigned products -Work to develop and implement the go-to-market strategies, tactics, launch programs, product position-ing, and key benefits development in hand with application and sales teams -Sense, observe and analyze market requirements in genral and/or specific for current and future products, and pass on the findings with approprite local solutions to headquarter for products re-engineering, re-configuring, and/or re-positioning 2、Registration coordination -Provide coordination and technical supports to product registration processes 3、Product knowledge management -Maintain and constantly update pricing and product selling packages for the ordering system -Contact directly to upstream/headquarter to obtain the latest product and technical information  Product marketing 1、Product – Competitive information analysis -Gathering market information for both Zeiss and competitive products in terms of new product luanch, configurations, positioning , pricing, promotion activities, and customer feedbacks   -Base on competitive product analysis, make and update the product comparison and create KSP (Key Sell-ing Points) for assigned product lines in hands with application specialists in need 2、Promotion  -Plan and organize exhibitions, conferences, seminars, user meetings, workshops, demo, and trial cycles. -Manage the development, updating, and improvement of marketing collateral material, including bro-chures, user manual, sales handbook, technical notes, white papers, demonstration materials, technical presentations, and/or web site presence, etc. in hands with application specialists 3、Pricing and price control -Involve and assist in the product pricing processes -Supervise configuration and price check over the quotation system 4、KOL, Reference, Education sites management  -Define, select, recommend, and maintain KOLs, Reference and Education sites for assigned products  -Provide technical consultancy and product demonstration to KOLs, in a high professional and technical manner, to ensure their deep product understanding and value perception, and further to ensure the promotion of word of mouth to other customers Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements:  Education  Bachelor degree or above, medical major is preferred. Experience  3 years experience in product managerment  Other skills  1、Critical/Strategic Thinking (Decision Making; Proactiveness; Problem solving; Data management; Strategic Plan-ning) 2、Marketing Management Skills (Marketing Strategy; Key relationships; Campaign development; Market Re-search; PLCM)  3、Teamwork/Relationship Building Skills (Influence; Cross-functional teaming; Coalition building; Mutual Trust; Initiative; Consultant)  4、Project Management Skills (Multi-tasking; Project implementation; Decision making)  5、Product/Industry Knowledge Factors (Technical leadership; Quantitative analysis; Market assessments)  6、Organization/Business Acumen (Financial skills; ROI analysis; PPT, Excel, cultural needs/differences) 7、English and Chinese skill is also required.  8、1-3 years experience as Products Specialist in Phama/Medical device fields, > 3 years work experience in health care industry.
