Objectives of the Position •e-commerce IT Team will implement own e-commerce platform for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars to provide seamless shopping experience on the digital channel and in our dealerships as customers are expecting the same convenience online which they find elsewhere. The team will research, experiment, test and develop the prototypes and solutions for the market using the cutting edge technology based on human centered design and agile development and will deliver e-commerce platform supporting commerce business online in coorperation with the relevant parties in Daimler. •e-commerce product manager will ensure business processes/logic/priorities implemented as designed and intended in accordance with e-commerce platform configuration and system integration with relevant business transaction systems. Product manager will ensure close communication and collaboration with business (local and HQ), internal partners of relevant systems (local and HQ) and e-commerce project team (internal and external) as well as dealers to create seamless customer experience. •More specific tasks include: -Gather and analyze business requirements. -Research target consumers and their requirements. -Help define product strategy and product roadmap. -Detailed product definition through interactive demo and requirements documents. -Ensures the final product exceeds business and consumer expectations. -Work with development and test team to ensure the successful delivery of product. -Take on the responsibilities of product owner in an aigle development team. Qualification required •Education: Bachelor degree in IT or business related fields •Excellent knowhow in automotive sales & marketing business •At least 5 years working experience in internet industry building consumer PC/mobile web sites and APPs •Experience working cross-functionally with designers, developers, business leaders and other stakeolders to generate buy in for the product direction you are setting. •Strong skills in information collection and business analysis •Excellent communication skills •Experience in managing internet consumer products with significant number of active users, developing, delivering and executing on a strong product vision and roadmap •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in developing and designing solutions •Excellent written/verbal in English •Product owner experience in an agile development environment strongly preferred Task designation •Design and update communication and collaboration strategy and plan with different responsibility parties, internal and external, local and HQ, business and IT •Update project status regularly to e-commerce IT Team Lead, Steering Committee and to local and HQ stakeholders in collaboration with QIO •Ensure business processes/logic/priorities implemented as designed and intended in accordance with e-commerce platform configuration and system integration with relevant business transaction systems to meet China’s market demands
