- • Achieve plant’s supplier performance per commodities a. Develop and execute SC budget -find opportunities , drive the result, coordinate well and align with Global Commodity Manager. b. Decision making and solution process for cost c. VAVE(Design , material, process change) and resourcing SC lead (Not internal Opps change) for resp. commodity, especially for Machining, Casting, Forging parts. d. Lead local and support global supplier negotiations . e.g. Annual, resourcing and change management • Commodity strategy & Competitive sourcing a. Actively engage in benchmarking, support global supplier negotiation and strategic opportunity creation b. Support for global Commodity strategy development c. CB to support PLB on final negotiation of new sourcing, and to follow PHINIA SOBO procedure present on PHINIA global SOBO meeting d. Support flawless launch activities including components ordering and on-time delivery • Effective Supplier Risk Management a. Delivery and quality escalation resolution and supplier Crisis management b. Support sound strategy development with all market/supplier intelligence c. Pro-actively identify and resolve supplier capacity constrains and support global capacity management • Lead Tactical SC activities per commodities a. Po tooling & contract management b. Price maintenance , price difference clarification, and mitigate the price increase risk c. Reporting and creating proposal for leadership decision d. Ensure compliance to PHINIA and local country rules and laws e. Commercial escalation point for all Quality , cost &Delivery topics
