- Key Responsibilities Translate divisional and national sales strategies into operational plans for the region in order to drive sales and meet and exceed targets Implement operational plans and priorities which align with the national sales strategy Plan, canvas and develop new business opportunities and initiate new sales concepts to maintain and expand market share Analyse and report on sales opportunities and achievements, and use data analyses to identify further opportunities Motivate, manage and develop a team of sales representatives to ensure achievement of pre-determined targets for the region Build strategic relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders through regular and ongoing communication Constantly evaluate and improve sales methods, in order to ensure maximum efficiency Deliver sales presentations and proposals if/when required Provide input into the annual budget for the region that supports the sales strategy and sales operating plan Manage and attain budget objectives for the region Work closely with Marketing Services/Media Analysts to support the sales strategies Keep abreast of latest trends in sales effectiveness and adopt new approaches as required in order to expand client base and increase revenue Skills and Competencies A relevant sales/marketing qualification 5 years proven sales experience, with experience in relevant field, Supervisory/management experience advantageous Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in relevant software applications and packages Relationship building skills Good analytical and numerical abilities Adaptability Innovative and pro-active Ability to motivate, inspire and manage sales staff Ability to work under pressure and reach set deadlines Attention to detail Ability to motivate, inspire and manage sales personnel
