- 职责： 【System Implementations and Support】 - Provide product and configuration support, work with customers to troubleshoot their sample management systems and processes; understand and interpret issues; elaborate new requirements; document the recommended configuration, propose the best fit; and plan the implementation of that solution - Work closely with the global technical team to fix any issues during the analysis, installation, acceptance testing, and post-release support. - Implement new systems and updates to existing systems, largely through configuring the product’s Oracle database - Perform on-site installations and upgrades, integration testing, and troubleshooting of the product and related hardware (liquid handlers, barcode printers, automated stores, etc.), provide guidance to customers on migrating existing data - Develop and deliver customer training. - Work closely with the support group during the installation, deployment, and warranty phases to ensure smooth transition from project to support 【Sales Support】 - Work closely with the technical sales staff to understand requirements and document the required product configuration - Create and present demos in support of sales, participate in sales support activities for customer presentations - As necessary, participate in sales support activities as an exhibit/conference booth attendant 【Will involve travel (up to 10% of the time) to customer sites across China】 要求 - An education background in computer science, software, research informatics, engineering, or other relevant area - Strong, proven customer relationship skills - Proficient in relational database systems and writing SQL (ideally Oracle) - Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with a variety of 3rd party software and hardware systems - Good time estimation, task switching and prioritization skills; ability to plan personal workload to meet varying multiple project or task deadlines - Excellent internal and external verbal and written Mandarin and English communication skills - Excellent work ethic, both alone and as part of a team Desirable Job Skills -2+years of experience in support or project role of customer data management or software solutions -Relevant life science / pharmaceutical industry experience; preferably in Drug Discovery or Clinical Research -Familiarity with sample management operations and systems within the life science/pharmaceutical industry. -Familiarity with the implementation and configuration of lab automation systems, e.g., robotic liquid handlers, automated stores, tube / rack scanners, electronic balances.
