职位描述：

China & Asia Technology, located in Kunshan, as part of KONE global technology organization is responsible for the development of new elevator and escalator products as well as change management, maintenance and modernization solutions.

CRD Platform Team is looking for


As a Platform Engineer, you will execute problem solving actions to respond quickly to urgent elevator product related improvements in business units.
You will also create innovative and competitive solutions for new elevator products in line with KONE Solution Creation Processes and KONE Guidelines.
You assist the Platform Manager to analyse change requests and create detailed proposals of changes in specific technology area such as Elevator concept, code knowledge standard, tool and systems, layout drawings and system behaviour.

Responsibilities:

Create technical/visual design concepts and implement using standard tools/templates
• Create design proposals as response to given specification
• Create solution
• Develop concept or prototype
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, technical codes and standards
• Create layout drawing and analysis

Execute problems solving actions to respond quickly to issues in business processes
• Identify the problem or issue
• Specify and propose solutions, taking into account full chain impacts
• Initiate and implement corrective or preventive actions when appropriate

Create/maintain and provide correct design data for project & stakeholder collaboration
• Design data, product model
• Product data as part of product model
• Drawings

Develop capability
• Create performance improvement ideas (process & tool know-how)
• Take development actions (own design know-how)

Authority to decide
• Proposing justified design ideas/solutions to problems to work on
• Project plan - how own work is organized.
• Effective way of using own time
• Effective ways of using tools


We expect you to have:

Minimum a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering disciplines
Minimum 3 years’ experience in products development experience
Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and English are a must
Good Microsoft Office skills are a must, knowledge on CAD and SAP systems or database are an asset
Collaborative and customer focused way of working
Willingness to learn and a desire to study independently
Innovative and strategic thinking is an asset
