We are looking for a Design Specialist, Service Design to join our award winning design team in China, Shanghai. This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of creating a completely new team and working culture at KONE. You will be in essential role of establishing and strengthening KONE Design service design practices and methodology. We are looking for a person who has a strong know-how on design thinking, co-creation and with a fearless challenger attitude. We hope to see a strong portfolio that reflects a range of projects and demonstrating high-quality service design outcomes. You will be operating in quick learning cycles via experiments; seeking problems that are worth solving and co-creating solutions that are worth building. We expect you to have Passion for solving problems Strong understanding about co-creation with customers and end-users Passion for services which meet customer needs and deliver well-defined outcomes in line with company strategy Experience of using service design mindset, tools, collaborating with business stakeholders Hands-on understanding of service design methods, tools and processes Hands-on experience with both quantative and qualitative research methods Strong experience in HCD methods and techniques to create measurable value for customers Ability to experiment concepts through quick and dirty prototyping Traction for storytelling to convince stakeholders with insights Familiarity with Lean start-up and design thinking Passion for innovations to create concepts for the future A proactive and systematic way of working Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Service Design or relevant field Up to date knowledge on the latest service design methodologies and willingness to learn new skills Willingness to maximize learning by sharing your experience and expertise within the team members Previous experience in working in agile multidisciplinary team Interest in both market and human behavior Willingness to travel Communication skills in Chinese and English, both written and verbal Team player mentality, fearless challenger attitude and ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
