工作职责: Job Summary: Provide overall leadership for process, equipment and project engineering related functions with emphasis on process expertise development, equipment maintenance, utility and facility up-keeping and new project management, etc. to achieve target of smooth production equipment, facility & utility operation, and continuous productivity improvement.
Specific Job Responsibility: Communicate safety principles and regulations to all subordinates, and monitor operations for compliance, to stress safety as a primary objective at all times. Provide technical support to improve safety practices in the workshop with engineering solution. Emphasis on process continuous improvement and optimization aimed at increasing productivity and efficiency, enhancing quality, improving yield and cycle time, and reducing unit cost. Control and monitor properly the whole production process to achieve a consistent process and product quality. Lead cross-functional new product industrialization to support company market strategy and business growth. Initiate production line upgrade with automation technology to improve productivity. Evaluate equipment and maintenance history to determine and establish appropriate PM requirements, and/or to recommend PDM programs for optimizing effectiveness of maintenance procedures and maximizing equipment reliability. Direct, monitor, evaluate and determine acceptability of work performed by outside contractors for projects in area of responsibility and/or as assigned. Coordinate work schedules with appropriate functions to expedite work, minimize interruptions in production, and assure effective utilization of work force. Work out and manage department budget, like operational expense and capital expenditure. Responsible for lean mfg. implementation in the plant to improve performance, like productivity, OEE and yield rate. Identify value added versus non-value added steps to the manufacturing process and reducing cycle times. Lead technical team to deliver cost savings with lean six sigma and continuous improvement projects. Coach engineers in process and equipment technology development, and direct the subordinator to fulfill the tasks. Provide technical support to other functions, like production, production planning, customer service, purchasing, quality inspection etc. Assist in the training and development of the technical skills of production personnel. Assure that employees are treated fairly and with dignity to provide a harmonious and productive working environment and to enhance work force effectiveness.
任职资格: Bachelor Degree or above major in mechanical, electric, and/or equivalent engineering discipline. At least 10 years working experience in process, equipment and project engineering disciplines in related industry sector. Process equipment, facility & utility maintenance and project management skills. Lean mfg. and six sigma certificated, and related working experience. Preferred with previous experience in multi-national food mfg. companies. Good English skills on both oral and written.
