Job Responsibility: 1. Oversee day-to-day operations, including GTS maintenance and draft internal export compliance operation SOPs based on daily practice. 2. Review and investigate system hold transactions, and escalate trade compliance issues and risks through escalation process. 3. Conduct trade compliance audits, identify improvement opportunities & follow up through the corrective actions 4. Schedule and delivery trade compliance training to internal stakeholders 5. Track trade compliance regulations & updates, analyze possible impacts 6. Be the “first line, go-to” person for trade compliance related inquires.
Job Requirements: 1. Demonstrated understanding of US export control rules and China Customs & trade rules and Regulations. 2. Strong individual contributor, able to read and interpret government regulations. 3. Able to manage small projects and create ideas for continuous improvements possibilities and execute local initiatives from beginning to end. 4. Experience of conducting independent export compliance audit and training 5. Experience of process re-engineering and optimization 6. Strong Communication Skills 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese. 8. Initiative to undertake additional responsibilities 9. Bachelor’s Degree Required. Master’s degree preferred (Preferred Major: International Trade, International Law)
