Manage technical part of BU DX projects including time, resources and budget planning as well as communication about project progress.
Responsible for the technical part of direct fastening products along the product life cycle:
Definition of requirements
Derivation and validation of design
Management of the product qualification (production stability and functionality) for serial production.
Product care of existing products (cost reductions, QIP):
Manage change of specifications of existing products related to changes in production process and design
Manages technical issues in product development and production by applying a deep and structured analysis e.g. system modelling; Develops strategies for validation and implementation of solutions.
Actively contributes to requirements engineering within the global project team: translation of stakeholder requirements into specification and design options; definition of validation concepts in collaboration with test engineers and quality managers
Manages the technical part of the project: definition of timeline, budget and resource plans; communication at status updates and gate releases; communication to suppliers
Builds up deep technical understanding of applications, product portfolio, production methods, materials and Hilti processes.
Works inclusively: build up a strong network to the BU team and to the plant team for getting the needed support from the different experts in the projects.
Bachelor degree and above; mechanical engineer with focus on design, production technology or materials science Fluent English written and spoken Good in Excel, Word & PowerPoint Experience in working with CAD/PDM-systems preferable Simulation tools would be a plus SAP skills beneficial Minimum 3 years of experience in a multinational company preferred, especially in R&D function Project lead experience would be a plus
