Responsibilities: Immediate support to Production Calls in case of supplier issue. Attend all Tier II and Tier III meetings communicating all issues related to customer, process and supplier In charge of effective containment actions related to raw material. Evaluation and application of Objective of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Effective material control and disposition in all the system (MRB, RTV) including blocked stocked. Sorting processes control and evaluation. Coordinating and establishing correct and effective internal sorting mechanisms and outsource companies as well. Objective evaluation of suppliers and follow up system – strong focus on corrective action. Support continuous improvements programs in coordination with SQD. Defining proper amount of resources and support from suppliers. Ensure complete adherence to internal quality system procedures and instructions. Ensure full adherence to ISO/TS standards and certification. Properly apply automotive Quality tools & techniques (PFMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.). Maintain good communication with suppliers and SQD organization.
Qualifications: 5-10 years working with suppliers in various industries. Have a good understanding of tooling, casting and machining processes Responsive and responsible to deliver on commitments. Experience in process improvement, statistical techniques for process improvement, development of PFMEA's, Control Plans, Gage Plans Excellent knowledge of APQP/PPAP/FMEA/SPC/MSA Project management & improvement background - the SQE in Wuhan will work with the major issues or top offenders and work to improve supplier quality where applicable - this job is not just working with the issues as they evolve but to be proactive in our approach to quality Good statistical thinking and understanding of GD&T Assertive in representing Supplier internally and HTT externally. English capability as many suppliers are overseas
