职位描述:

Role Summary/Purpose :

The Cost-Out Initiative Project Manager is responsible for identification, preparation, and execution of cost-out projects, workshops and other initiatives focused on identification of new cost-out ideas, and driving on-time implementation in coordination with cost-out teams and functional champions.



Essential Responsibilities :

• Lead cross-functional task-force teams to execute a product cost-out target relative to the assigned scope of the product

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify and execute on the cost-out actions/projects

• Identify and drive implementation of the Design to Cost/Manufacturing/ Transportation/Installation/Serviceability across the Product Life Cycle

• Work with Engineering and Margin Expansion lab on building Should Cost Models, leads Should Cost negotiation projects

• Conduct cost-out workshops to generate new ideas engaging relevant internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, contractors consultants) in cost-out idea generation process

• Build Cost-Out’s business case with C&B analysis, make recommendations for the approval of the projects by the leadership

• Drive operating rhythm for cost-out activities within the scope of responsibility



Qualifications/Requirements :

• Engineering background or Business School with a Finance degree

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Engineering or/and Supply Chain (Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing)



Desired Characteristics :

• Previous experience on cost-out programs management within industrial company, preferably in Wind sector.

• Knowledge of should costings models and design-to-cost methodology

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in an international environment

• Product Costing

• Ability to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressure

• Demonstrated strong communication skills and autonomy

• Good negotiation skills and arbitration abilities

• Ability to challenge status quo and implement effective changes to improve controlling performance

• Experience of leading/working within cross-functional teams

• English – Fluent a must

• Spanish – optional, a plus

• French – optional, a plus
