职位描述:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversees a team of Accounts Payable processors and supervisors. Line management responsibilities including professional development, performance appraisal, and employee counseling for staff. Assigns project work and reviews workload for all direct reports. Manages staff by establishing goals that will increase knowledge and skill levels, and by delegating tasks
commensurate with skill level.
2. Reviews and approves the AP reconciliation, month end accruals and variance explanations.
3. Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures for AP, driving toward implementation of best practices and business process improvements.
4. Support overall organization's SOX compliance requirements through adherence to key controls and timely completion of reporting.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various systems projects including selection, implementation, and upgrades to AP.
6. Ensures all operating units are properly reconciled at the vendor level.
7. Ensures that all 1099s are issued timely and accurately.
8. Create metrics for monitoring and reporting staff’s activities. Tracks and monitors all SLAs, ensures all queries and SNOW tickets are actioned timely.
9. Reviews and resolves all delinquency or demand notices. Prepares root cause analysis and corrective actions for each occasion.
10. Works closely with Business Unit Controllers and operational leadership to monitor SLAs and team delivery performance.
11. Ensures timely and accurate responses to Project Manager’s questions.
12. Monitors department costs versus budget and prepares monthly reports explaining variances.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent education and experience.
2. A minimum of five years of accounting experience and line management experience is necessary.
3. Progressive financial experience within a CRO or service industry preferred. Management experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
4. Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint), email, or related accounting packages are necessary. Intermediate Excel skills necessary.
5. ERP Financial systems experience would be preferred.
6. Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience preferred.
7. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, organizational and interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and strong analytical skills. Ability to organize and
prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet critical deadlines is necessary.
8. Ability to interact with staff from multiple departments as a leader.
9. Workable English and Japanese skills are necessary.
