1. Taking Overall responsible for store business compliant with external regulation, secure legal and governance aspects of the businesses and operations in IKEA for local market (also applicable for bullets below):
- Secure the fulfilment of Government Permits and Licence requirement - Acting as link between with Legal function and business unit to deal with external lawsuit issues - Develop and maintain strong public relationships with EXTERNAL of IKEA - Anchor the local regulation into store daily operation
2. Provide training to task owners and overall co-workers to improve compliance competence and awarenss. 3. Prepare periodic consolidated reports to Store Management for risk assessment and compliance issues. 4. Provide recommendation/solution for the business to tackle non-compliant issues and eliminate risks, draft/update store routines on need basis. 5. Governing store procurement process on right track. 6. Develop and maintain public relationships with external authority. 7. Secure the fulfilment of Government Permits and Licence requirement.
Job requirement: 1. Experience working in a compliance or internal audit positions; 2. Knowledge of external relevant legislation within the country and local Market.; 3. A considered decision-maker with the ability to influence colleagues; 4. Good communication and documentation skills in dealings with various levels of management; 5. Ability to work independently and reliably on agreed compliance actions
