Develop competent & committed supplier bases to support company’s mission and sourcing strategy. Develop and improve supplier quality according to “The Way We Do Things” to secure supplier can deliver stable qualified goods to our company.
Specific Areas of Responsibility
Supporting Sourcing Engineer to assess new potential supplier. Lead initial sample verification at supplier site and approve sample based on Epiroc drawing and specification. Work with suppliers to assure proper process control standards are in place and continuously monitor key manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities. Ensure suppliers have adequate people, training, tooling, fixturing and equipment to provide stable and qualified products for Epiroc. Communicate on quality issue with suppliers and working with supplier on quality issue analysis, follow-up supplier corrective/preventive actions implementation. Interact directly with other departments in company on parts quality issue, and help supplier to communicate on quality with other departments in company Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of current career technological developments and trends to guide the manufacturing &quality improvement.
Hiring Qualification Education:
Bachelor or above, Mechanical Engineering or related education
Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
3~5 years working experiences in SQE or quality related area plus familiarity with welding process used to produce components and assemblies for Epiroc Knowledge of quality management system (ISO 9000 / TS16949) Good problem solving skill, good practice on quality tools like 8D, 5 WHY and continue improvement Ability to solve problems in a structured manner Good technical and analytic skills with extensive experience in supplier manufacturing process. Have a strong drive, leadership and ability to develop and improve the supplier base. Good execution, positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results. Good communication (verbal and written) and social skills.
