Provide professional occupational health management to support the site operation to ensure complying with Syngenta health management standards and Code of Practices as well as Chinese legislative requirements.
1. Identify local legislative requirements on occupational health and ensure the compliance. 2. Be involved in health risk assessment and ensure the health surveillance program links the health risk assessment results well. 3. Being involved in the illness incident investigation, and also be involved in counseling the concerned employee(s). 4. Develop and implement the health promotion program appropriate to the needs of the organization and review the effectiveness of the program and make adjustment where applicable. 5. Design and review the medical surveillance program at periodic intervals to ensure the compliance of the Syngenta Standards or Code of Practices and Chinese legislative requirements. 6. Arrange health examination for new employee/and resign employee. Arrange annual welfare physical check and occupational disease check. 7. Conduct the basic medicine diagnosis and manage the OTC drug release well. 8. Manage the changes in health status. Assess the health of any employee upon his return to work after long absence from work or continuously monitor health of an employee who has been diagnosed with some disability/diseases that would degenerate over time to ensure his suitability for work. 9. Provide the assessment on fitness for work for job rotation or new employees. Conduct the fit testing for the employees who need wear respirator. 10. Weekly review the food menu in Canteen. 11. Organize and manage the site first aid team under EMS organization and provide/arrange the first aid training to ensure the required capability of the team. 12. Being involved in stress management such as conducting stress risk assessment and provide suggestions to improve where applicable. 13. Follow Syngenta standard or local legislative requirements to coordinate the monitoring of chemical/radioactive/noise exposure level in work place. 14. Responsible for the application of health related license and update it timely. 15. Provide all the government required report to fully meet their expectations.
1. More than three years of working experience in chemical company or medical service unit. 2. More than three years of working experience on occupational health management.
