1. To provide leadership and direction on the EHS practices for the manufacturing sites and business functions in China 2. To drive the development and improvement of processes and systems to achieve sustainable EHS performance 3. To lead the implementation of Company’s Environment/Health/Safety Process in China 4. To define EHS priorities, set goals, allocate resources and measure performance 5. To provide EHS technical support to all manufacturing facilities in China
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Lead the Corporate EHS team 2. Collaborate with manufacturing sites to define and implement EHS management process in order to improve EHS performance. 3. Develop and communicate Company EHS policy and associated procedures with all sites. 4. Promote and support the continuing development of a positive of EHS culture and awareness 5. Set EHS targets /KPI and measure their achievement by periodic auditing. 6. Identify EHS training needs, including the relevant competences requirements 7. Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationship with manufacturing site EHS staff and Site Managers in China 8. Provide EHS technical /professional support to all manufacturing facilities in China 9. Institute effective systems for the reporting, recording and investigation of accidents and incidents to prevent recurrence 10. Conduct periodic review and update of Corporate EHS Standards and procedures
REQUIREMENT 1. At least 10 years working experience in senior Environment, Health & Safety function 2. A thorough understanding of EHS laws and statutory requirements 3. Proven track record in developing and implementing EHS program and stretched performance targets. 4. Strong communication skills. Organizational awareness and ability to influence senior business executives 5. Experience in risk assessment /management, and audits 6. Proven team leadership skills
