I. Purposes of Position： Based on company product development strategies and roadmap, support the management, maintenance and optimization of existing product line to achieve organizational objectives.
II. Key Roles and Responsibilities Manage existing product pricing strategy based on market and customer understanding; Manage existing products models and configuration; Manage product spare parts list and pricing; Manage existing product retrofit and upgrade kit offering and pricing; Product market performance analysis; Product life cycle management; Design innovative product promotion plan to improve existing product market share; Assist product manager in requirements gathering, demand analysis, requirement document preparation, product prototyping and final product acceptance; Regularly collate and analyze user feedback and cross function optimization suggestions, and propose product improvement plans; Provide training to sales and distributors for product configuration and price strategy; Identify market opportunities for existing product optimization to improve competition capability;
III.Relationships Product Managers, for communication and understanding product strategies and roadmap. Key Account manager, for collecting and understanding customer requirements. Sales team, for collecting and understanding product market performance Current Product Engineering manager, for planning and execution of existing product optimization development. Global product manager, for communication domestic product related information Finance team, for product developing and promotion budget, pricing strategies approved. Purchasing team, for product cost related. Operation department, for product manufacture related Service department, for the sales support of spare parts
IV.Measures of Performance High quality VOC report and products optimized proposal; Successfully organize product optimizing design and meet expected revenue and margin target; Competitive product pricing; Innovative product promotion; Strong supporter and team player to sales department; Quarterly marketing research report, including marketing share, competitor information and marketing opportunity etc;
V. Background and Skill BS degree or above, electronic/mechanical field, or business management related. Minimum 2-years product management/engineering/marketing experience. Capably inspire, motivate, and lead cross-functional team. Strong learning and understanding capability. Knowledge in product management and development. Project management and multi-tasking skills is a plus; Strong capability of resource coordinate and allocation Strong communication and presentation skills. Fluent English both in oral and writing
