- JOB SUMMARY Be responsible for new product introduction to ensure the launch of product smoothly, including technical feasibility, readiness of technical file and the industrialization proposal. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct design review of product technical concept Conduct technical review of industrialization proposal Take part in the new product design and development by making the samples and feedback the manufacturing vision on the design concept Confirm product BOM in sample phase Be responsible for instant communication of any delay, problems, or risk regarding new product/process development Coordinate and control technical activities, track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating from the Project Plan Support the prototype team/purchasing team throughout the whole new product launch period Research new process and new technology during new product launch (process improvement, equipment etc.) Support cost calculation of the samples/products process Coordinate the development of line concept which may affect the quality, timing or industrialization Take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the company from time to time REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Bachelor degree or above with major of Industrial Engineering or Electronic/Mechanical Engineering More than 3 Years’ working experience as a Project Team Member in Automotive Industry Ability to complete task with minimal supervision Good command of bi-lingual(English and Chinese)
