ACCOUNTABILITIES Client Engagement: Drive client impact and engagement via:
lDeep understanding of key client business, synthesis of current & future challenges lCreating a client centric culture within Nielsen that embraces innovation, collaboration and work simplification for the benefit of clients and Nielsen lProviding analytics-based consulting and solutions to our clients biggest business issues lCultivating the analytic competencies of Nielsen Client Teams, enabling the delivery of analytics-based consulting and solutions by all team members lImplement plans that will contribute to maximum client satisfaction and ensure continuous business growth. lLead the client servicing team with the primary responsibility of expanding our scope of influence with clients across a wider range of products and with greater depth of involvement lFoster relationships at all levels and functions of the client organization to identify opportunities for incremental solution sales lEnsure adherence to the company policies on business conduct / ethics when servicing clients are being observed by the entire division
lAchieve revenue targets as well as other related business development objectives as assigned. lEnsure local business strategies are implemented according to regional / global directions in order to meet clients’ business objectives and ultimately grow Nielsen revenue and footprint.
Team Leadership: Work in conjunction with Product Specialist/Practice Area Team Leader to:
lCreate high performance client servicing teams that excel at effectiveness lPlay an instrumental role in providing performance improvement feedback to associates. lSet clear vision, strategy and goals for teams that create impact to the client lPlay an active role in retaining star performers and empower them to lead and makes tough talent decisions without delay lStaff professionals in roles that meet client needs while also creating development opportunities lChallenge, coach, and inspire teams to excel.
Organizational Management and Development
lWork across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs lPromote across-departmental and across-divisional communications and teamwork. lParticipate in local/ regional sessions as well as other projects as part of continuing leadership development
Business Development & Thought leadership
lMaintain and further foster relationships with current contacts lDevelop plans to cross sell and introduce new services to current clients lContribute in building thought leadership & thus company’s positive image through participation in professional associations and industry conferences / seminars lParticipate in the development and launch of new services – work pro-actively with all Product Leaders.
KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES lBA / BS is a must, master degree is preferred lProficiency in English is a must lAt least 8 years working experience including 5+ years market research experience, and must have served accounts in Automotive Industry. Years of experiences in a BD role and/or solid relationship with big name accounts would be a definite plus. lStrong client focus and proactive lVery Good Influencing & Persuading Skills lExpert knowledge of research techniques and methodologies lGood knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis lGood people management skill lEffective writing skills in English and Chinese is a must
