Consistently deliver projects that range in complexity and scope on time and to budget, whilst utilizing the enterprise standards for project process and the enterprise tools. Ensure projects are delivered in line with Sephora Asia PMO policies, practices, and procedures. Continuously evolve best practices and tool sets for project planning and execution. Manage and provide overall guidance on IT project management process and governance frameworks and ensures quality delivery standards against business requirements.
Portfolio management Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals within regions portfolio. Maintain budget information, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary for the project investment strategy. Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. Ensures that projects have clear objectives, scope and support from project sponsors prior to presentation to steering committee. Works with business teams to take projects from concept and build business case for project prioritization and approval
Project Management Direct and manage project execution from beginning to end. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Manages business requirements received from all applicable business departments or within IT, and work with the project team to drive project to completion Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Develop and deliver effective status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Analyze the content of status reports from the project team and troubleshoot problem areas. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Team Development. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Contribute to the wider PMO Community by sharing expertise, lessons learned and leading virtual learning sessions.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline;
Analytical mindset demonstrated through education & work experience;
5+ years of project management experience; some consultancy experience is an advantage, as is working in a smaller environment independently
• Demonstrated track record of successful project management, effectively delivering multiple projects concurrently and independently;
Familiar with ITIL processes, policies and procedures;
Advanced user in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, PPM etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation;
Comfortable in chaos, calm in a storm, able to navigate changing priorities.
